Symptoms of angina pectoris
Angina pectoris appears as a dull sensation of pressure or tightness on physical or emotional stress that occurs with mild or severe stress or even at rest depending on the severity of the disease. The patient usually knows his stress limit very well.
Radiation of the pain to the left arm or hand, neck, shoulder region, back, stomach region and lower jaw is possible. It occurs more often at low outdoor temperatures and after meals. Typically, the symptoms disappear in response to nitrate medication (e.g. nitrolingual spray).
