How great is the risk?

The question of risk is linked with the question of whether the pregnancy should be continued to term.

We offer paediatric cardiac surgery consultation with the aim of helping you to make your decision and reducing your anxieties by providing factual information. Since we carry out all forms of treatment in our clinic (for example, palliation or transplantation for hypoplastic left heart), we provide open counselling and accept whatever decision the parents make, supporting them in their decision after they have made it. A visit to the children’s ward is possible at the same time.
